Personal data

Privacy policy

This page explains what data Bulleo processes, why, where it is stored and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This translation is provided for convenience. The French version is the legally binding one.

Key points

  • Your videos are saved in your own Google Drive, in a “Bulleo” folder, or only on your device if you choose.
  • Bulleo only accesses the files it created itself. The rest of your Drive remains closed to it.
  • A video is not private: anyone who has its share link can watch it.
  • Bulleo does not show ads, uses neither advertising trackers nor audience measurement, and does not sell your data.

1. Who is responsible

Bulleo refers to the service available at bulleoapp.fr and its app for Mac, as well as the app for iPhone once it is available. The controller responsible for processing your data is:

COACHING BUSINESS 360, an SAS with share capital of €1,000, SIREN 894 654 458, whose registered office is at 9 chemin du Pontet, ZAC du Pontet, 69380 Civrieux-d'Azergues, France, represented by Antony Rouxel.

For any questions about your data: contact@antony-rouxel.com.

2. The data processed

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. Bulleo then receives your name, your email address and your profile picture. It also stores the session information that keeps you signed in.

Your videos

The video files are saved in your Google Drive, in a “Bulleo” folder. They stay in your Google account.

The “Where to save” setting lets you choose: your Google Drive, your device (the camera roll or the computer), or both. A video kept only on your device is not sent to your Drive and has no share link.

For the accounts of the publisher's team and its testers, Bulleo also keeps a copy of each video with Amazon (section 8).

Information about your videos

To display, play and edit your videos, Bulleo stores the following in its database:

  • the title, duration, date and description of each video;
  • a technical index of the segments that make up the video;
  • the audio waveform, which is used to display the timeline in the editor and to detect silences;
  • your editing data, that is, the cuts you make.

This information is linked to the video and erased with it.

The hosting provider's logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, records the requests received by Bulleo (IP address, page requested, date and time) for security and to diagnose outages. These logs are kept for a limited period, set by Vercel.

What Bulleo does not do

Bulleo does not show ads, uses no advertising trackers and does not measure its audience. Your data is not sold and is not used to show you advertising.

3. Access to your Google Drive

Bulleo requests a limited Google Drive permission, called drive.file. With this permission, Bulleo can only read, modify or delete the files it created itself, that is, your Bulleo videos. It does not see the other files in your Drive.

You can remove this access at any time from the Third-party apps page of your Google Account. Bulleo will then no longer be able to save videos to your Drive or access it.

4. Use of Google data

Bulleo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice:

  • Bulleo uses this data only to run the features you use: signing you in, saving your videos to your Drive, playing them, editing them and sharing them.
  • This data is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes.
  • It is not used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
  • No one on our side looks at your Google data, unless you ask us to (for a support request, for example), the security of the service requires it, or the law obliges us to.
  • It is only passed on to the service providers needed to run the service (section 7), or to the authorities when the law requires it.

5. Camera, microphone and screen

Bulleo uses your camera, your microphone and screen capture only during a recording you have started. This access is requested by your browser or by macOS, and you can remove it at any time in their settings.

The upcoming iPhone app will be able to keep the camera active when it goes into the background, only while a recording is in progress, so that the video is not interrupted. It will turn off the camera at the end of the recording.

6. Sharing by link

A video recorded with Bulleo is not private: anyone who has its share link can watch it. Two links lead to it:

  • the Bulleo link, which contains a random 12-character identifier that is hard to guess;
  • the link to the file in your Google Drive, which Bulleo also shares in “Anyone with the link” mode.

The share page plays the video with the Google Drive player, embedded in the page. The browser of the person watching therefore connects to Google (section 13). Only the videos of the publisher's team accounts are played from their copy stored with Amazon.

You choose who you send the link to, but a person who receives it can pass it on to others. To make a video no longer visible, delete it (section 12).

7. Service providers and storage locations

Google (United States)
Signing in to your account, storing your videos in your Google Drive, and playing the videos on the share page with the Google Drive player. Google processes this data according to its own privacy rules.
Vercel Inc. (United States)
Hosting of the application in its Frankfurt (Germany) region, and request logs (section 2).
Neon (United States, Databricks group)
Database (Postgres) that contains your account, your sign-in sessions and the information about your videos. It is hosted in Frankfurt (Germany), on Amazon Web Services infrastructure.
Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (part of the American Amazon group)
For the publisher's team accounts only: storage of a streaming copy of the videos on Amazon S3, in Sweden, and delivery through Amazon CloudFront (section 8).

8. The streaming copy

This section only concerns the accounts of the publisher's team and its testers. For their videos, Bulleo keeps a copy with Amazon, so that they start quickly and play smoothly:

  • the copy is stored on Amazon S3, in Sweden (Stockholm region), and encrypted;
  • it is delivered through Amazon CloudFront, whose servers are spread around the world: the video goes through the server closest to the person watching it;
  • the original file stays in your Google Drive;
  • deleting a video also erases its copy at Amazon and removes it from CloudFront. Deleting the account erases all copies.

For all other accounts, no copy is made at Amazon: the video is played from your Google Drive (section 6).

Coming soon: transcription not active yet

Bulleo will offer to transcribe your videos. The audio will then be sent to AssemblyAI Inc. (United States), through its European endpoint, to extract the text. This feature is not active as of the date this page was updated: we will update this policy before putting it into service.

9. Transfers outside the European Union

Your account and the information about your videos are stored in the European Union, in Frankfurt. However, our service providers are American companies: Google, Vercel, Neon and Amazon Web Services, or their group, and AssemblyAI once transcription is active. These providers may nevertheless have access to data from the United States. The Google Drive player, on the share page, is provided by Google, which may process the connection data of the person watching outside the Union. For the publisher's team accounts, the streaming copy is stored in Sweden. When one of their videos is watched outside the European Union, it goes through an Amazon CloudFront server close to the person watching it.

These transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where the provider participates in it, by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

10. Legal bases

  • Performance of our terms of use: creating your account, recording, organizing, editing and sharing your videos.
  • Our legitimate interest: ensuring the security of the service, preventing abuse and diagnosing outages, in particular through the hosting provider's logs.
  • Your consent: the permissions to access the camera, the microphone, the screen and Google Drive, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Our legal obligations: responding to requests from the authorities in the cases provided for by law.

11. Retention periods

  • Your account: as long as it is active. With the “Delete my account” button, it is erased immediately. After a request by email, it is erased within 30 days.
  • The information about a video, including the audio waveform: until the video or your account is deleted.
  • Sign-in sessions: until you sign out or the session expires.
  • The hosting provider's logs: a limited period, set by Vercel.
  • Your videos: they are in your Google Drive and stay there until you delete them. A video deleted in Bulleo goes through your Drive's trash (section 12).
  • The streaming copy of a video, for the publisher's team accounts (section 8): until the video or your account is deleted.
  • Settings and drafts kept on your device (section 13): settings, until you clear the site data in your browser; an editing draft, until the edit is saved or abandoned, or until you clear the site data.
  • Your email exchanges with us: the time needed to handle your request, then three years at most.

12. Deleting a video or your account

Deleting a video

When you delete a video in Bulleo:

  • its Bulleo link shows “Video not found”;
  • Bulleo removes the public sharing of the file in your Drive, then moves it to your Drive's trash. Google deletes it permanently after 30 days, or sooner if you empty the trash yourself;
  • the video's information (title, cuts, audio waveform, etc.) is erased from our database;
  • if it has one, its streaming copy is erased from Amazon and removed from CloudFront.

A browser that has already played the video may keep parts of it in memory for up to 24 hours.

Deleting your account

In Bulleo's settings, the “Delete my account” button immediately erases your account, your sessions, the information about your videos, their audio waveforms and their streaming copies at Amazon, if any. It also revokes Bulleo's access to your Google account.

You can also write to us at contact@antony-rouxel.com from the address linked to your account. We then erase the same data within 30 days.

Your videos stay in your Google Drive: you can keep them or delete them yourself. Their link sharing in Drive is not changed. If you no longer want them to be visible, change their sharing in Drive or delete them.

13. Cookies and storage on your device

Bulleo only uses cookies and local data that are necessary for it to work. They do not require consent. Bulleo uses no audience measurement or advertising cookies.

The share page of a video is an exception: the Google Drive player it embeds comes from Google, which may place its own cookies in the browser of the person watching. These cookies are governed by Google's rules. The player only loads when the person starts playback, after being informed.

Cookies

bulleo_session
Keeps your sign-in session open. It cannot be read by the page's scripts (httpOnly cookie).
bulleo_oauth
Temporary cookie, used only while signing in with Google.

Your browser's local storage

bulleo.bulle
The settings of your camera bubble.
bulleo.bulle-ecran-entier
A display preference for the bubble.
bulleo-montage-<identifier>
The draft of an edit that has not been saved yet, so that nothing is lost if the tab closes. It is erased as soon as the edit is saved or abandoned.

The Mac app keeps your session and these settings on your Mac.

14. Security

Communications with Bulleo are encrypted (HTTPS), as are the streaming copies stored with Amazon for the publisher's team accounts. Access to your Drive is limited to the files created by Bulleo, and we take reasonable measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized access.

15. Minors

Bulleo is not intended for people under the age of 15.

16. Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, request restriction of its processing, object to its processing, retrieve it in a readable format (portability) and withdraw your consent at any time. You can also set instructions regarding what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@antony-rouxel.com, preferably from the address linked to your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within the legal time limit of one month.

If you believe that your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL: www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.

17. Changes

We may change this policy, in particular when transcription is put into service, or when Bulleo changes service providers. The date at the top of the page shows the last update. In the event of a significant change, we will notify you by email or in the app.
